Workshop
Provider Brings Everyone Together
Overland Park, Kansas USA January 21, 2010 -
Overland Park based company Creative Photography
Workshops, offering workshops underwritten by the Kansas
Arts Commission and the National Endowment For The Arts,
announced today a grand expansion of its services. The
gateway to the services (launched today) is their new
interactive website designed to benefit the workshop
attendee and workshop host alike.
Designed to extend learning long after the one day
experience, it also increases benefits to hosts before,
during and after the workshop. The objective is to
create an experience that brings workshop attendees and
hosts together for a long term association.
“Over 95% of our attendees rate their overall
experience as ‘Excellent’. We’d like to better that."
said Rose.
“Enthusiasm of attendees often lasts about as
long as the drive home. Then the dreaded ‘What to do
next feeling?’ sets in. With our new system they leave
the workshop with their next step. That is then
followed by interactive exercises via the web for
students ready to take their skills to the next level
and beyond.” For every workshop the company is hosting a
permanent web page dedicated to their workshop, the
facility and community where it was held. Attendees can
show their friends and family their art by directing
them to the Workshop Gallery. “It is their page; if the
Workshop Alumni want to add another gallery to the page,
start there own photo club or invite community members
to join the fun, we’ll put it on their page!” said Rose.
New benefits for workshop hosts include everything to
organize, publicize and register attendees. Hosts may
pick ala Carte from the services menu or opt for a
"turnkey" solution. "Administrators of Galleries, Art
Centers and Schools know the benefits workshops provide for
facilities. However, it can be a daunting task for those
who do not have the money or staff to put it together,"
said Rose. "Hosting an event needn't be a great burden.
Every facility interested in having events, should
have good events, regardless of their demographics
and or experience!"
Many additional features can be explored at
www.CreativePhotographyWorkshops.com with
more added frequently. Interested parties may
communicate through the website or contact Dan Rose
